Yoga is for every body.
It’s not about touching your toes - it’s about connecting with yourself, exactly as you are.
At Kevdowndog Yoga, the practice is about presence, not perfection.
Through energising, breath-led Power Vinyasa classes and private sessions, you’ll build strength, flexibility, and focus while learning to move with awareness and compassion. Each practice offers space to breathe deeply, flow with purpose, and feel empowered — in both body and mind.
Classes and private sessions are suitable for all levels, including beginners.

Meet me - I'm Kev
In 2017, a work trip to South Korea changed everything for me — and not in the way I expected. Our local hosts took us to a traditional restaurant, the kind where you sit cross-legged on the floor. Easy enough, right? Except… it wasn’t.
After about three minutes of trying to sit comfortably, I was in agony. My hips screamed, my back protested, and I started to realise that years of sitting at a desk and chasing weights in the gym had built strength, sure — but not mobility. Meanwhile, the locals around me, all about my age, were perfectly at ease, tucking into lunch without a care. In that moment, something clicked: maybe those token post-gym stretches weren’t cutting it. Something had to change.
When I got home, I signed up for a yoga class. I’d never stepped on a mat before and every doubt came creeping in — Yoga’s not for guys… I’m not flexible enough… I’ll look ridiculous… But I went anyway.
That first class was humbling — tight muscles, restless mind, awkward breathing — but by the end, I felt something new. Lighter. Clearer. Calmer. I couldn’t explain it, but I knew I wanted more.
One class turned into two, two into weeks, and soon yoga became part of my routine — then part of my life. Over time, my body softened, my mind settled, and my focus sharpened. I was hooked.
That curiosity grew into passion, and eventually, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. Now, I have the privilege of guiding others through this practice — helping them move, breathe, and find a little more space in body and mind.
My mission? To break down the old myths that keep people from giving yoga a shot —
“Yoga’s not for guys.”.....“I’m not flexible enough.”.....“I’m not good at yoga.”.....“I can’t sit still.”
If any of that sounds familiar, you’re exactly where I was — and yoga might just surprise you too.
